Chapli Kabab Recipe | Peshawari Chapli Kabab Recipe Restaurant Style

Hi Friend, Today i am sharing with you Real Peshawari Chapli Kabab Recipe, Chapli Kabab is my most favorite dish.

Chapli kabab (چپلي کباب‎) is a Mughlai-influenced Pashtun-style minced kabab, usually made from ground Beef, Mutton, Lamb with various spices in the shape of a patty. It originates from Peshawar (City of Pakistan) , what is today north west Pakistan, and is also known as the Peshawari kebabs.

Chapli Kabab Recipe


  • 1 KG Mince (25% Fat) (Keema قیمہ)
  • 3 Medium Onions ( Piaz پیاز)
  • 2 Green Chillies Optional (Hari Mirch ہری مرچ)
  • Fresh Coriander (Hara Dania ہرا دھنیا)
  • 2 Medium Tomatoes (Tamatar ٹماٹر)
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Ginger Paste (Adrak Lehsan ادرک لہسن)
  • 1 Tsp Crushed Carom Seeds (Ajwain اجوائن)
  • 2.5 Tbsp Crushed Coriander Seeds
  • (Saboot Dania ثابت دھنیہ)
  • 1 Tbsp Crushed Cumin Seeds (Jeera زیرہ)
  • 1.5 Tsp Pomegranate Seeds OR Powder (Anar Dana انار دانہ)
  • 2 Tsp Crushed Red Chilli (Lal Mirch پسی ہوئی لال مرچ)
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder زیرہ پاؤڈر)
  • 1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder (گرم مصالحہ)
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper (Kali Mirch کالی مرچ)
  • Salt To taste (Namak نمک)
  • 1 Egg ( Anda انڈہ)
  • 2 Tbsp Plain Flour (Atta آٹا)

How to Cook Peshawari Chapli Kabab Step by Step

Take 1kg Beef Mince (25% fat) Mutton, Lamb, Beef

Take 3 Medium Size Onion and Grind in Small Pieces or Chopped it Well.

Remove the Juice from the Onions and add in Beef Mince (Keema).

Now Add 2 Green Chillies well chopped, Fresh Coriander chopped, 2 Medium size Tomato chopped and add 1 Tbsp Garlic Ginger Paste

It’s time to add Spices. 1 Tsp Carom Seeds, 2.5 Tbsp Coriander Seeds, 1 Tbsp Cumin Seeds, Crushed all Spices and add in Mince (Keema).

Add 1.5 Tsp Pomegranate Powder, 2 Tsp Crushed Red Chilli, 1 Tsp Cumin Powder, Half Tsp Black Pepper Powder or Crushed.

Salt to Taste, Add 1 Egg and add 2 Tbsp Plain Flour.

Now Mix it very Well.

Marinate For 2 Hours. Its depend on you want to cook urgently you don’t need to manitrate.

After 2 Hour it’s ready to make chapli kabab. let’s start make your hand wet.

In a frying pan add cooking oil and heat a oil on low flame.

take Kabab Mixture (Kabab Masala) and make kababs (150 gms) of equal sizes (makes 8 or 9).

Put Kababs in the frying pan and cook in medium Heat until the Golden browns.

Now Your Chapli Kabab Is Ready.
